Is this depression?
I have been really upset lately since my friend was diagnosed with cancer.I'm 14 and just haven't been the same.At times I'll be feeling better but then somebody will just say something stupid and that will make me feel horrible again.Just looking at pictures of him makes me cry and I dunno.I just feel awful.
I don't feel suicidal though.if anything I feel the complete opposite. This stress has made my chest hurt and I keep worrying that I'm going to die so I won't be able to see my friend or help him anymore.So that's got me even more worried.I've just all of a sudden become AFRAID of death. Is it still depression?I don't know...I need some help.I want to feel better SO BAD but I just can't...
Is this depression?

It sounds like anxiety which goes hand in hand with depression. Perhaps you should talk to somebody you trust about this as it can become a serious problem. Good luck!!
