Curious... is there is a big difference with how depression affects men and women?

this is quite stereotypical to say either sex deals with depression differently. All people deal with depression differently...i have come across men who are real wimps and open about their problem and i have come across girls the same and then vice versa. the affects are the same, it depends solely on the person on how they react.
