Question about Xanax.?
I have been taking Xanax for about a month for my anxiety and it has helped me a lot.My doctor is on vacation and his office cannot prescribe me another refill.I have one left and i am very anxious about stopping xanax cold turkey.
I need to have a refill as soon as possible.
What do i do?It is the wekend and all the other doctors are closed.
Do i go to the hospital ?

Call the Pharmacy that it was filled at and request a refill - they may have to call the doctor that is on-call for your clinic to get approval. Speak to one of the Pharmacists directly so they understand the situation. The on-call doc may only approve a couple until you can get your own doctor to authorize the refill.
