Not impressed by adderall?!

Question:

Not impressed by adderall?

so i snorted one of my dads adderall pills because i heard it produces a rush similar, but not as intense as cocaine. I used to be a big coke-head, but I had to quit because I was liking it too much. My dad has adult ADD and just got prescribed Adderall XR. I am really unimpressed with it. When I snorted it, I barely felt any rush at all, I definitely wouldnt even say it felt similar to a cocaine rush, I just felt like I needed to get something done, I didnt feel euphoric, like coke makes me, I think it really sucks? Does anyone agree with this statement. And NO I AM NOT A DRUGGIE, I just experiment with drugs, because you never know if you dont try.

Answers:

I've abused both adderall and cocain. From what you've written, I can only tell you that you took the extended relase version and probably a relatively small dosage. The drug is designed to help you focus by stimulating your fight-or-flight response in your nervous system. Adderral is an amphetamine and the down side to taking an amphetamine regularly is the speedy effects (tremors, sweating, nervousness, etc). With that said, the extended release version (XR) was developed to deliver the medication steadily over a period of time, wrather than all at once. So if you don't respond well do standard Adderall, the XR version will certainly be less intense.

I've taken both and I've found that with my experience, if you take double the prescribed dose, you'll get that euphoric high. I wouldn't snort it either, taking it orally does the trick.

I wouldn't advise that you experiment with amphetamines they are very addicting and a ***** to quit.
