Paxil question?
i was on paxil years ago. it worked really well for me. then because of weight gain i switched. been on alot of different meds and most didnt work for me. then i have been on effexor and it has quit on me and i feel like i did before medication. has anyone gone back to a previous med that worked for them and had good results? i know all about the side effects but i just want to get out of this prison cell im in.i just want to feel better. feeling so alone and scared and looking for some others experiences. thanks all

although some meds have a diminished effect when you get off of them and then go back, i found that it's not always the case. chances are good that if paxil worked for you in the past, it might still be useful.
i used prozac for a few years, got off for a few and went back and it worked just as effectively. you should definitely try it.
