How do you distinguish between Mania and Schizophrenia?!

How do you distinguish between Mania and Schizophrenia?

the symptoms are:

paranoid delusions of people knowing your thoughts and out to get you and testify against you and make false complaints against you.

auditory hallucinations of many voices conversing (like you're in the middle of a crowded auditorium) and you can focus in on certain conversations and then others.

conspiracy theories about the government intruding with your thoughts and transmitting radio-like waves to your mind to control your thoughts.

seeing little shadows go wizzing by in your peripheal vision.

not eating.

not sleeping much.

talking too much too fast too loud.

saying things you don't want to say.

not being able to put your thoughts into words.

spacing out, staring into space.

feeling suicidal and homicidal.

outbursts of rage like throwing things and yelling.

(and all these things occur at the same time for a few weeks but gradually progressing and then ending in depression)

schizophrenia or mania and why do you think so?

other symptoms are:

not showing up to work

making unusual descisions like to become a stripper and you even told your landlord your moving but you don't find another apartment and are going to get evicted

spending too much money

There is a disease called schizoaffective disorder that mirrors schizophrenia and occurs usually in the manic state of someone who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I'm not a psychiatrist but it sounds like you have schizoaffective disorder. Talk to a psychiatrist, psychologist, or therapist about your delusions.
