Can you recommend any counselors in the Chicago area that have helped you get better?
I talk with a lot of people who have been seeing therapists for 10 and 20 years, and have not improved much, but are paying $100 or more per hour. Is anyone seeing a therapist in the Chicago area, or northern suburbs who you would recommend? I don't hear too many stories of people who went to see a therapist for severe anxiety, and improved enough to stop treatment. I'd like to hear from people like that.
