How many of you have significantly improved after seeing a therapist, or are you!
Question:
How many of you have significantly improved after seeing a therapist, or are you still just managing symptoms?
Is there anyone who has had a history of anxiety and depression that has significantly improved after therapy? I know of many people who are managing symptoms but still very much struggling, but few that have made great improvement. If you have PERSONALLY please post.
Answers:
Never had this problem, but know plenty of people who have. Do not go near a therapist unless you are already divorced, broke and do not have the kids or you are really psycho and so a harm to yourself and/or others.
There is no one ever cured, because that would end the case and the money flow.
Freudian psychiatry bit the dust over the clinical discovery of the uses of lithium to control manic depression. Psychiatry and clinical psychology in terms of making people better without chemicals, are essentially the modern equivalents of voodoo.
Never known anyone who got any better. They even lie to them to tell them things are not bad, when they are. People lose their grip on reality.
I have seen people get better through prayer.
