Does Effexor considerably help Social Anxiety and Panic disorder. Of how much help can it be and how long till you feel the anxiousness getting better?

I take Effexor and it definitely works for me. I do take Xanax PRN, but very seldom. Effexor is like a wonder drug to me. I have been on alot of different meds trying to find the right one for me. Paxil was close, but Effexor was much better. It took about 4 weeks for me to notice a difference. And I 100% agree with Peter....do NOT miss a dose. I repeat do NOT miss a dose. When you are getting low on meds, go get a refill. Anger is my first indication that I have missed a dose.
