Something else is in control of my life besides me. As result, my life isn't going anywhere.?
Someone else's thoughtful suggestions feel like hatred to me. Is this one of these cases of loving myself first or whatever?
Answers:
You do need to think of you first--you can't love anyone if you don't love yourself. Maybe you should keep your distance for the one offering the 'helpful' suggestions--and get on with your own life.
