What do you do when its hard to hide the pain?

I feel like Im slippin kinda like I just want to drink some alcohol and pop some benadryl to hide. I just feel like im getting lower and lower and lower to the point I just want to be passed out on the floor. At least then that will be exactly how I feel. I dont want to dive into this emotion but it keeps sucking me in. Im afraid of a lot of things right now and I feel alone. I dont know what to do. What should I do? Ive seen my therapist twice this week and have had 4 hrs of therapy. Im breaking open. Cant hide anything anymore. Jeez. Need advice.

They have found out that the best therapists truly care about there patients and that caring and love for there patients is what truly helps them, not who is the smartest or who says the right things. So make sure you feel this from your therapist, if not find a new one.

Secondly, there isn't anything wrong with the way you feel, it is natural. You shouldn't try to manipulate the way you feel because then you create even more feelings of unease and get lower and lower. Every time a feeling comes up feel it fully analyze why you might feel this way and what thoughts are leading you to this feeling. Monitor your thoughts and see what works for you and keeps you happy and what thoughts make you feel bad. Introspection. You will begin to truly master your own thoughts and feelings because perception is a choice you make.
