Disabled Boyfriend Help?!

Question:

Disabled Boyfriend Help?

I have a boyfriend that is disabled. He requires medication to sustain normal daily activity. The problem is that sometimes he takes too much of his medication, and I used to join in on this activity, (dumb I now realize...) and while I am trying to not want to do these things, he sits there all messed up right in front of me and gets upset when I get upset that I have to put up with it.We have been together 5 years and got engaged but nothing has ever came out of that. He was disabled when I met him and I feel like I am stuck because he's a bit touched in the head and has no family. I am no longer happy in this relationship and it would just kill him if he found out. I know I gotta look out for myself...

Answers:

5 years is a good thing. You may just be confused on what to do with him, yet still would like to help him out, as well as your self. If this can work out where you both can still be together and that is what you both would agree to want, then that woud be great. If it would be in both of your interest to seperate, if not forever, then for a while then you should do so.
