they probably gave him a trecheonamy and hes on a breathing machine hes in a coma severe head tramas are the worst kinds that hospitals see he has lost oxygen to his brain and can not replace the lost brain cells he will have to under go speech therapy physcial therapy and ocupational therapy he will have to learn every thing from scratch like a new born your father will be he will and i hope he does not have but more than likely he will have short term memory loss and his temper after time will get worse there is a book and its called brain injury what to look for and what to expect ask the doctors for this book they should have it get all the info you can on his contition from his doctors and file for social security benifits because once your father comes out of the coma it will be very difficult and they will tell him that he is not capable of driving anymore/ and not able to work and most employers will not take a chance on someone who has a major head injury they are concidered a liability to them god bless your family my fience had a head injury as well so i feel for your family ill pray for you email me at kbue5@aol.com and also kambueno01@yahoo.com to let me know how he is doing and how he is progressing and ill try to send you some more info god bless your family sincerly kam bueno
