WHY AM I ALWAYS SO SAD??????///?
IM a 44 yr old mother of three....all grown and 2 live with me.I have great kids a wonderful boyfriend,and a some what normal life.But lately im sad.......dont even really want to be here............??????im on anti-depressant .....dont feel any better?help????????/

You said that you are taking antidepressants and not feeling any better? How long have you been on them? Sometimes it takes up to two weeks to fully work and other times, it takes a combination of medications to work. I've been there before and it angers me when I read others telling you to basically just think differently. If you could/would think differently, you wouldn't be asking me (us) what to do for depression.
I believe, though, that the best way to combat depression is through a combination of psychiatry and psychology. I don't get my panic under control or my depression for that matter until I learned how to control some of the physical processes going on in my body. It had nothing to do with positive thinking. It had everything to do with learning how to change the way I feel by either changing the way I think or to change the way my body physically responds.
