Does Ativan make you nauseated...?!

Does Ativan make you nauseated...?
If so any ideas? I just started taking this yesterday after my doc gave it to me. I am assuming that the nausea will go away in time, is this correct. Is it better to take on full stomach or empty? Thanks

Yes thats an Ativan side effect, especially at the beginning you will most likely encounter a feeling of Nausea. Before the system gets used to it you are going to feel nauseous. this happens because the body responds to the new foreign chemical by making you feel like that.....just in case what you swallowed is a poison. it lets you know by making you feel sick. but in time, it will recognise that the ativan isn't dangerous and that alert mechanism will go off...and you will feel fine.
In any case always speak to your GP about your health issues. I myself am not a doctor .
