Taking lexapro...Side affects?!


Question:

Taking lexapro...Side affects?

I am taking Lexapro and have been for the last 2 days. Since I started it, I havent eaten anything because I feel so nausous that I gag at even thinking of eating. I see that it often cause peopel to not be able to sleep, but I am sleeping the best I have in a long time. Is that normal too?

I am only taking 1/2 of a 10mg pill every day.

So my question is, will the nasea go away, cause it cant be good that I havent eaten in 2 days.


Answers:

Yes, loss of appetite has happened to me, too. My psychiatrist actually gave me Lexapro over another SSRI because she said that the weight gain would be less...now I know why, lol. It got better after about a month.
