some people always get scared to commit it at the last minute, does anyone know how to get unscared?

If they change their mind at the last minute then they are not serious about doing it. It is simply a cry for help which sounds like what you are doing right now. Get help. I did and I am happier than I have ever been and really glad I didn't commit suicide. Because I didn't I have been able to graduate high school, met a really great guy, and enjoying life. Life is only as bad as you make it. Yes it does have its potholes and trenches that you have to pull yourself out of from time to time but they are just temporary. Life DOES get better.
