What can I expect as I wean myself from Effexor?

I had about a week of odd symptoms that I could find no explanation for in the medical literature. I did find some stuff online that fit the bill. Many people were calling it "brain shivers" I described it to my doctor, who had not heard of it before.

It was kindof like a sort of temporal dissonance, like I was slightly out of step with the world. There were phantom shock kind of feelings.
