Grandmothers death?!

Question:

Grandmothers death?

my grandmother died in early march and to this day it still wont escape my mind.i constantly think about it.i get flashes of her in the casket during the wake.can anyone give me some tips to help myself?id like something that wouldn't require professional help or anything.

Answers:

I am sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose someone, you never really get over it. Time will numb the pain. Try thinking of positive memories to get the thoughts of the wake out of your head. Make a scrap book maybe, or look at old photo albums. Please dont ignore your feelings, that will only make it worse. Talk to your family, they probably feel the same way - it really helps to talk. I know you dont want professional help but if you are religious it is always great to maybe talk to your pastor or member of your clergy(usually free or a donation). I am sure your grandmother is in heaven smiling down on you and wanting you to have a good life, she is in a better place with God.
