I have a whole in my chest it looks like a bowl almost, and i'm so self-conscience about it i'm afraid.

I'm afraid to take my shirt off, near friends at a swimming pool, it has even stopped me from getting into a relationship because i'm scared the way the girl i like would react. I'm really self-conscience about it and surgery or plastic surgery would only make matters worse. Please help me i've been worrying about this everyday of my life for many years. How can i get over it and not be so self-conscience. Like doctors say i'm 1 in 1000 guy kids who get it but it's really bothering me...please help

I suppose you know it is called pectus excavatum. I had a childhood friend that has it, I suppose we were just used to it as we swam a lot together as kids.
I think you just need to take it off, people will stare, but hell they stare no matter what you look like. The more you get out there the easier it will be. It is better that you are a dude as most women of quality will not care about that and love ya for your charisma and good looks
