Bad day going back to bed?!


Question:

Bad day going back to bed?

When you are having a bad day (Bipolar, high anxiety, high stress. depression...) why are you just so exhausted, you just want and need to sleep so much? I'm am just completely exhausted.

and I'm tired of feeling like this.

Is it the depression, anxiety, beginning a cycle of Bipolar? I just don't want to deal with anything today.

Stress takes a lot of energy out of a person. Have you checked with your doc to be sure you are getting enough iron and B vitamins, just in case it's not just stress or other things you mentioned? I thought my crashing fatigue was due to my depression but I found out that because of my alcohol abuse, my body isn't absorbing B12 (among others). I started taking a Super B vitamin that has 16 times the suggested daily requirement (it's water soluble, so anything the body doesn't use will be excreted). I noticed an immediate improvement. I still sometimes feel tired when I'm down, but I no longer suddenly feel as if I will keel over if I don't go take a nap. I first noticed that it was worse immediately following my lunch.
