I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder...?

in the past, about 4 years ago. i stopped taking medication pretty shortly after that. and haven't been on any since. recently, i was referred to a counselor just to talk about anything i want, and when they do your intake, they ask have you ever been diagnosed with anything. i told them... will this determine their decision on whether or not i still have it? what are some symptoms? please give specifics.

the symptoms are somewhat more obvious in some people than in others. Milder symptoms include being very very up, ultra productive, not sleeping much or not at all and possibly overspending and hypersexuality.
On the other side of the coin is depression. The depression may have you in bed for weeks, thinking of suicide,. not wanting to be around people at all and a noticeable withdrawal from things that brought you pleasure in the past.
