Anybody ever have panic attacks and manage to overcome them without medication?!

Question:

Anybody ever have panic attacks and manage to overcome them without medication?

If so, how? Or please share any info you think would be pertinent.

Please don't tell me to take meds, chemically they just don't work with my body/brain.

Answers:

Hi Rachel,

No meds are not needed.

You can do many things to help alleviate the stress in your life. Stress is often a common cause for panic attacks and anxiety attacks.

The fact that you do not want to take meds is a good sign. You will be fine. You may be able to change your diet and see if different foods that are added to your diet help. Avoid high sugar items and make sure you drink warm drinks before bed to relax. Getting proper sleep and exercise will help.

Hope This helps,
