Oh, you're asking about romance. I thought for a bit that you were talking about the date on your pension.
I don't think the first words out of your mouth need to be, "Hi, I'm disabled," but when the issue of work comes up, it's best to say your disabled. It's nice if you're able to volunteer someplace, so you can give someone an idea of who you are that way. I don't think trying to hide who you are is going to work. Yes, it's not as attractive as a good career, but you're not going to get close to anyone by lying.
Do you go to support groups or a clubhouse? You'll meet people in similar circumstances that way, maybe through volunteering, too. Do what you like to do and meet people along the way. That's the advantage of being disabled. With all the disadvantages of being disabled, at least there's the advantage of having free time to do what you want.
