Why do people get on here and say they are going to commit suicide?

This chick took the time to post 4 questions before she commits this supposed suicide. PAH- LEASE!!!!!! Who takes the friggin time to get on yahoo answers before they kill themselves?

i have walked in the shoes of a depressed person. i have tried suicide and i didnt tell anybody or waste my time online before i did it. i am happy i was smart enough to call poison control when i started feeling the pills (60 sleeping pills all at once) kick in and make me feel like i was slipping away. thats the point when i realised i didnt really want to die. i was in a mental hospital for 3 weeks. so yeah i been there. thanks though. ,,!,,

I can't comment on the question you saw because I didn't see it. Some people want attention that they're apparently not getting from somewhere. Some people are just being juvenile and there are probably some who are serious and are reaching out. Who knows.
