I think it's good that you can let yourself cry. It's a catharsis. I cry when I'm sad, happy, upset, if I watch a sad/touching movie, or if I hear a sad/touching song. If I try to hold it back, I just get a headache, and that just makes me pissy. When I let it out I feel better in many ways, even if I have to deal with read eyes and a stuffy nose.
