Why am i worrying too much?!


Question:

Why am i worrying too much?

like why do some people worry less then other people, and others dont even worry at all. what are ways i can do to make me worry less and plus i want to know why i am worry.


Answers:

There are definitely some significant differences in temperament, innate personality, etc. that contribute to being more stressed out and worrying more. YOu can see a counselor about your excessive anxiety or talk to a close friend if you have one that you can really trust. Also physical fitness (try to choose something you like to do) is a definite stress reliever. Try to incorporate prayer into your daily life and find a church to attend. Commit your life to God and let Him have your worries and frustrations. Try deep breathing exercises in which you focus on your breathing and try to think of a positive scene and allow your body to relax.

There are medications that can help with anxiety also, although a person shouldn't be on these for the long term as some of them can actually be addictive.

Start a journal and try to get to the root of what you are actually worried about. If it is finances then put a plan into action where you purposely spend less, even if it is just a little. And if it is a situation that you can't change, for example if your finances are so low that you can't possibly reduce your spending any more, then just accept the situation and try to enjoy the simple things in life in spite of the situation.

And treat those around you and that you care about with the utmost respect, courtesty, and kindness.
