Answers:

She shouldn't still be teaching after multiple students have reported that she's physically abusive. She should have been barred from any contact with her students until a full investigation was completed. If the principle allowed her to continue teaching after students reported she was physically abusive, then he could be charged with child abuse as well, and not only lose his job, but even go to jail. Your parents might want to remind the principle of this. Also, physically assaulting kids (or adults for that matter) is illegal, and whether or not the school fires her, the police can arrest her.

Verbal abuse is near impossible to prove, and is very subjective. It's wrong for her to say those things, but chances are it wouldnt be considered illegal. So even if the verbal abuse is what bothers you more, the physical abuse is what is most likely to keep her away from you.

If you've already gone to the principal and the school board, tell your parents to call the police. Even if the school won't do anything, the police will, and once the police are investigating her for child abuse, the school will probably get enough bad press that they'll have to fire her.

In the mean time, don't go to her class. If you have class with her all day, then your parents should keep you home until this is resolved. School is important, but your physical and emotional safety is more important that a few days or even a few weeks of school.
