How do minors go about getting help w/out parents finding out?!

How do minors go about getting help w/out parents finding out?

How does a minor get mental health care without the folks finding out? I know I need help bad, but I can't pay for treatment on my own and am afraid that my parents would be told. I don't want to shame them. Help is apreciated.

my parents can't find out. they've got enought to deal with. Having a depressed and self-mutilating daughter is the last thing they need especially if they knew why. It would cause problems in the community. Is there any way at all with out them or a school counselor having to be told (the school counselor is a family friend).

How old are you? You are too young for treatment. Who made you feel you need help they shouldn't say that to you. I wish I had more information as to what is bothering you. Your parents sound smart When I was 13 my mom took me to a metal hospital and made me take medication, which is usually about all they do, why not help yourself talking to someone older and smart who you trust will work so much better for you. Don't waste your time thinking you have a problem that will only make you feel different, make it harder for you to feel like a part of the world and you will feel too bad to live as a part of the world aka a loner. Not fun instead have fun and think positive you can help yourself starting with your own thoughts/words.
