I feel like I can't take it anymore...?!

I feel like I can't take it anymore...?

I live in Illinois, I am 18, and my mom is driving me nuts. I pushed away all my friends last year when I had awful depression, and now it feels like we can't recover. I am just constantly telling myself not to do things I used to so my friends won't hate me and it drives me further into feeling like ****. I seriously want to drop all of my commitments and drive to California and start a fresh clean slate. WHat would happen if I did that.

So I felt like I was reading one of my own questions for a second! lol

I went through A LOT of the same stuff. I didnt really push away my friends, I kind of used them as an escape! But I for some reason driving out to Cali would solve all problems, and everything would be peachy. It never happened, and Im a lot better now. Basically you need to find out whats really depressing you and get it out of your life or just change it!! Running away from it wont solve anything. If youre still pretty depressed, get help!! I never did, and sometimes I wish I had. But I was 18 when all these same things were going on in my life!!

Life is only what you make out of it.
