Question:

Why am I judged for cutting. It's what makes me,me. So why do you tell me to stop like you actually care?

Everyone always tells me to stop. i dont change for anyone. if they dont accept me for who i am and what i do, then they shouldn't talk to me. Cutting is part of what makes up me. So why should I change?

Answers:

Cutting is a nervous habit or a habit that is used to cover the emotional/physical pain that someone might be experiencing. Cutting is not solving life's problems, it will just lead to further attention seeking behaviors. You may end up w/ scars on your arms that you might regret in the future. You also have blood vessels and nerves and if cut can either lead to permanent nerve damage (might not be able to use part of your hand) or bleeding. You should seek counseling help. Many people do cut, you are not alone and should not be embarrassed about it.
