My friend wants to kill herself!!?

My friend is 25 years old and she calls me every other day saying how her kids father never help her out with the kids or the house.(cleaning) She's overwhelmed and stressed and depressed. She do go to the doc, but she said it's no help. She called me about 2am and was crying saying she's about to take an overdose, because she's tired of not be able to have free time and he does. The problem is--She asked a question I don't want to answer. Should she leave her kids father of 8 years. I think yeah, but if I tell her and she do, she might become even stressed and it'll be my fault. Can someone help me help my friend??

punkin222 you need to talk to her spouse and let him know how serious this is. She's screaming for help right now and needs some help with the kids and house. That is the hardest job in the world 24/7 with no break and hardly any uninterrupted sleep. She's depressed and needs to see a doctor. If her husband refuses to help her and if he is abusive in any way then you should probably talk to her about getting out. But keep in mind that will be very stressful also being she will be only one taking care of the kids and change is hard and lonely. Money is also a problem. Best bet is to get her to a doctor A.S.A.P. If she has family you might talk to them also. She needs help NOW so just don't blow it off. If shes calling in the middle of the night she's in really bad shape.
