SHE IS 19 AND ON HER OWN. OFF HER MEDS AND DEALING WITH HER HUSBANDS SUCIDE IN OCT. SHE DOES NOT LISTEN TO REASON AND IS OUT OF CONTROL. I TRIED GETTING HER HELP BUT SHE WAS AN ADULT AND LEFT THE FACILITY BEFORE SHE GOT ANY HELP.

I have to ask two questions and then try to answer without the the answers.1)Is she a minor child? 2)Did the doctor take her off? If she is a minor child you must find a way if they are still prescribed to get her to start taking them again. I am on topamax and although it is used for other things,anxiety and migrianes because my bipolar is mild it works. Maybe she does not want to take the because it is affecting her day to day life and sometimes that it more of a problem for people than the disorder. 2) If the doctor took her off them and she is a minor take her to soemone else and tell them her diagnosis and get her back on meds. I don't know where she is on the stages but the worse it is the more depressed and manic the person becomes and the mood swings are unbearable even for those around the person. If your child is an adult other than talking and being supportive there is not much you can do until she does something or realizes she needs her meds.
