I have MS and this is one of the best medicines for controlling muscle spasms.
People have reported withdrawal symptoms and that is to be expected with this class of drugs. I have been taking the medicine since it first received approval so I don't remember any side effects. My dosage has remained the same for more than 10 years.
Medicines can effect people in vastly different ways. I have heard of some people getting a sort of high with this one but I don't recall ever experiencing this. I have taken much stronger medicine so maybe that is why I don't have anything negative to report.
The drug is a member of the "benzo" family, which also includes Valium, Ativan, and Xanax. I heard that they have a new formula but it is not yet available where I live. I will try it when it becomes available.
