Bipolar disorder and schizophrenia? need help with sensitive issue as soon as po!

Question:

Bipolar disorder and schizophrenia? need help with sensitive issue as soon as possible.?

I am writing a story for english coursework and THE main yet a hidden plotline is based around a bipolar schizophrenic, i have researched this as it is a delicate subject and it has been confirmed that both can affect a person simultaniously. I am wondering if this is infact true and if so, what common REAL symptoms are and how these two illnesses affect people, also, am I right in assuming the two, if severe, lead to a calm social person who is frequently withdrawn with intense mood swings as well as the inability to recall episodes, also, could such agression be triggered by something for example a word, not apple etc.., something that has scarred the individual or say light or stress etc. thank you in advance and a fast response will be greatly appreciated. x x

Could such ilnesses lead to violent unrecallable episodes?

Answers:

Yes there is a type of Bi-polar that involves schizoprenic symptoms. It is Bi-polar with schizoeffective disorder.
Without my medications I have had
Hallucinations of demons, angels and monster all my life, hallucinations while driving making me dangerous. I was sure the government was out to assasinate me.
I had blackouts ranging from minutes to totally forgetting the second grade
I had wild mood wings mostly depressed all the time (6 suicide attempts) and manic phases where I had energy to stay up for a week at a time working on all kinds of things, my thoughts would race from subject to subject and back again. I would be reading 4 books at one time.
Mostly my flashbacks would be caused by situations and peoples attitudes not just simple words, but there are some that set me off like stupid, queer (I am a lesbian), or being pushed around
