So much work, so many things to do in life...how to not feel stressful and manag!

Question:

So much work, so many things to do in life...how to not feel stressful and manage properly?

I have so many things going on in life. There are problems that come from these things but I try to solve them. I feel so stressful with so many stuff going on and problems and things I have to do. I feel as if I don't have time to go to the toilet.

How to better manage my life and feel good about my life?

Answers:

Go to the library and take out books on:

-Time management
-Organizational skills
-Coping with stress
-Uncluttering (or balancing) your life
-Improving self-esteem--Improving self-confidence--positive affirmations,
and,
-any other book that looks appealing to you from the self-help section (like on the various problems/challenges you are facing, etc.)

If it's a job or school that are stressing you out--truly consider changing your line of work--or taking less stressful classes.

If it's children--think about getting a 'mother's helper', IF you have no relative who will take the child/ren once in a while so that you can get a break. IF you think your not with your child/ren often enough--think about working fewer hours--and see if there are any legit jobs that could be done from home.

If you have split up with a partner (or lost a loved-one to death or serious illness)--while at the library, get books regarding surviving the loss of a love, etc.

Also at the library:

-Relaxation tapes/CDs/DVDs
-Books on meditation (which helps clear the mind)
-(Perhaps) books on beginner's Yoga--some poses can be done while working

Be sure to *walk outdoors every day*, eat healthy foods, and drink lots of water. It would be a good idea to cut out (or cut down on) caffeine--which is in coffee, regular tea, chocolate, Mountain Dew, energy drinks. If you use caffeine at all, stop after lunch time. Alcohol is a depressant--if used at all, don't overuse.

Lavender candles, incense, bath & body products: The scent of lavender is very relaxing.

Chamomile Tea, Sleepytime Tea, and some herbal teas are also very relaxing.

Writing (and drawing) are therapeutic--do whichever you prefer, or both.

If all else fails, or if you are totally at your limit right now, see a doctor or counselor. If you don't have money or coverage--there are free-sliding-scale mental health clinics in virtually every city. If you ever feel severely overwhelmed--where you might do something you would regret--don't hesitate to call 911 to the emergency room (they, and the police dept. will know the phone number of your nearest free/sliding-scale mental health clinic, if you can't find it).

I wish you good health, less stress, and a happy life :)
