Cut myself with a razor and it won't stop bleeding.?!
Question: i went a little over board and now i have this one kind of deep cut that won't stop bleeding. my parents should be asleep for 7 hours or so. what do i use like regular first aid things to get it to stop i tried putting all the pressure i could on it with a bunch of tissues i held it for like 10 minutes and it didn't lessen up one bit on the bleeding it's on my forearm

Razor cuts always bleed alot and this one is deep. Put really cold water on it and keep aplying pressure. Put some purexyl (don't know how to spell that) on it. Otherwise, theres not really much you can do. But, if you start getting like light-headed form all the blood loss, drink Orange Juice and alot of it.
You should go to the emergency room! If you pass out, you will bleed to death.
put some dry coffee on it

wake up a parent and ask them for help. why did you cut yourself that deep in the first place? well do whatever to make it stop, eh? yeah uhh idk wat to tell ya

who shaves their forearm and i guess you are so now you have to drink it and wake ur parents up and drip some on them
apply direct pressure and whatever you do.. do not use superglue! there is also stuff at the drugstor you can apply( in the shaving section) that will stop it.

u must have thin blood. dont worri itl stop,,, hopefully you didnt cut anything big or then youl have a prob. put some rubbing alcohol on it and leave it open
if it doesnt stop bleeding you should go to the emergency room! call 911 if you have to!
Put pressure on it again, but elevate your arm. Lift it so the cut is higher than your heart. This way there won't be as much blood pumping in that area.
Pressure, elevate, and stay still for a little while.
But if it's really deep and heavily bleeding, you should wake up your mom.
Just use a tissue and put direct pressure on it. Small vessels will really blead badly sometimes. You will see that it should ease up. Just keep the pressure on it.
Go to the emergency room now.....wake your parents up!!
use chapstick on the cut, smear it on and then press down with a tissue. It should stop the blood from flowing out so quickly.
Also, to make it heal faster, put a wet tea bag on it, the tanic acid help skin grow back faster
Get gauze and some medical tape and wrap the gauze on to the cut. Change the gauze every hour. Should stop, if it doesn't then tell your parents.
Have you tried ice? It will make the blood vessels shrink and hopefully the bleeding will stop. If it doesn't, wake your mum and ask her advice. She won't mind
well your supposed to lift your arm above your heart to stop the blood from rushing to your arm.. i guess just put like some peroxide on it and then put like a bandaid or like keep the tissue on while u hold ur arm above ur heart.. thats all i can say.. =)
You might just be a free bleeder. Don't stop putting pressure on it!! It should lessen up soon.After it does put some peroxide and neosporin on it and bandage it.
Greetings, first off if you cut really deep into a vein you need to go to the er. Try holding gauze or a cotton ball firmly on the cut and tape it on tight, elevate your arm and put ice over the makeshift bandage and don't move your arm for 20 minutes, if it bleeds enough to seep through the cotton/gauze and tape, then go to the er.

The same thing happened to me 15 days ago. I had to go to the doctors because the razor cut my vein and because the heart keeps pumping the blood , it will gush out everytime the heart pumps. The doctor cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and then applied tincture with a cotton and then made a tight dressing with some gauze. I also had an anti tetanus shot and some medicine was prescribed for pain relief. This is important because there should be no pus formation . I think the doctor also gave some paracetamol meds.
The bottom point is WAKE YOUR PARENTS UP and ask them to rush you to a doctor.

If the blood does not come out in a steady flow but pulses with your heartbeat, you probably nicked a vein and should go to the ER immediately. Otherwise it should stop with pressure and elevation. If the bleeding is heavy wake your parents. You may need to get stitches.

due!! get to the er!! it is bleeding and wont stop because you cut an artery!! go now!!
