You are very normal! What's happening is the your body produces "endorphins" (combination of the words "endo", inner, and "morphine") which are the bodies natural pin killers. Endorphins resemble opiates, such as morphine, the harder you push, the more endorphins are produced leading to the "high" your feeling.

BTW- I hope your doing these "mega work outs" using a plan developed by a coach, trainer or someone familiar with the muscular/skeletal system. Pushing to hard, without guidance, proper rest and nutrition will in the long run, do a great deal of damage to your body. You don't notice it when young, but you'll most definitely feel it as you age!

when you work out, your brain releases endorphins, which are the same things that get released when you do some type of drugs giving you that "high" feeling.

Working out releases endorphins into the bloodstream. These are very similar to the chemical morphine, and act upon the same receptor sites as many popular opiates (opium, for one).

This is fairly normal.

Its a type of high...you release a lot of endorphins...all i know is when you release endorphins it makes you feel great...a natural type of high!

there are two hormones released in your body, usually at the point of danger.

one is called Adrenaline and i dont remember the other one.

anyways, all your experiencing is and Adrenaline rush, these are quite common, they make you feel invincable, and can push you to do things you didnt think you could do.

I'm 50, still working out. Yeah, sometimes, until I wake up in the morning feeling like I've been run down by a truck. It's normal, feeling alive and not all jammed up. Enjoy.

I also get a "high" after doing cardio for about 25 minutes or so. I think that's normal. I don't think there are any hormone problems involved here. I am female, and I think even females have this response to exercise.

What I've been told is that working out can be a kind of energy-high. Endorphins (your feel-goods) get released when you work out and make you feel, well, kind of high. Legally so. :-)

20 minutes of exercise is equal to 50mg of anti-depressant.

no its normal, the reason doctors reccomend exersize is becasue it gets your hormones flowing and mainly adrenaline pumping, thus why you liek it so much and pain cause adrenaline rushes also why people become masochist, but you should be fine-normal -just like everyone else, as long as your not taking it to dangerous levels and hurting yourself seriously your fine-it it gets to an uncontrolable stage though you need to take yourself to a doctor, but you'llknow when it goes form fun to obbsession.

when you workout your body releases endorphines. these endorphines cause a natural high.

Working out releases endorphins in the brain. It makes you happy. Happy is a high.

Yes endorphrins are released into your system when u exercise..thats the runners high that u may experience
