Question: As a 13 year old, I injured my penis in September 2002. Did not see a doctor. As a result the injury left me with scar tissue on the underside shaft of the penis. At the time i was only 5'6 in height. Right after this incident I hit a growth spurt which would continue on for a couple more years until i reached 6'1. My penis has not changed since i was 12. I'm afraid I may have stunted it's growth. I'm about 5.5 inches erect, and although I realize this is an average size, I am puzzled by the fact that my penis did not grow along with the rest of my body, and I am frustrated by the idea that I may have stunted it by damaging it, and while it may have recovered from that traumatic accident, i believe it was not capable of growing during such an important time.

The penis has two chambers running down its length called the corpora cavernosa. These contain a spongy tissue that becomes engorged with blood during arousal. The walls of these chambers are made of elastic fibers. When the penis is erect if it is bent too hard the elastic fibers can break. If you heard a cracking sound this may have happened. This is usually a medical emergency because of severe swelling, but it might have been a small tear in your case.
This can affect the final length of the penis. We can't really say if that happened in your case, you'd have to go to a doctor and see if there is scarring. Doctors can surgically correct abnormal bending of the penis, but can't really lengthen it. The good news is 5.5 inches is average and men are the only sex that seems to worry much about penis length!
wow its sad to hear that.. i dont know if it messed up the growth of your penis thats something you should ask a doctor
you should go see a doctor as soon as possible
man i feel sorry for ya. im 15 with 7 inches so may be you should go to a doctor to see if any tissue was torn. although this was long ago may be something can be done.
Maybe 5.5" is what you were meant to have anyway. Mine has stopped growing and I only have 4.5 inches.
