Men's Lab have a product called "Anti burn" or "razor burn cream" sommat.. anyway you put it on after you shave and it helps sooth your skin. I like it... I'll go and get it later to get the right name fo ryou.

They also have one for electric razers.. a pre-shave balm that helps lubricate the skin so that when the whiskers are pulled it doesnt irritate quite so much. I use that too.. but more often I dont use my electric razor.. I've taken up shaving at teh gym...

I can sit in teh steam room for 10 minutes to soften up my whiskers before I shave with a standard razer and some soap. It's teh best shave going.. the heat prior to shaving helps keep the razer burn away.

it's irritation, tell him to warm his face with water before applying the foam, shave with a new, sharp razor. afterwards wash his face then apply a moisturizer. that should stop the irritation.

consider buying a foam or gell that is natural and has less irritants.

My man has the same problem. Before I moved in, he dry shaved without even water and that was the only thing that didn't give him razor rash. Try getting him to use either hair conditioner, or some of your body wash. He needs something to really moisturize the skin, and those two products (it doesn't matter what kind) worked for my man.

Good luck!

has he ever tried an electric razor?

I learned years ago to shave in the shower. The steam, combined with a brisk scrubbing of the beard to get it to stand up, is a great shave!!

Shave in the shower with a good gel or cream.

I have also done better with a triple blade razor, and not cheap ones.

Shave less often. Work the 5 o'clock shadow into his 'look"

if all else fails, there are some stronger things he can use, but he needs to see a dermatologist for them.
