Trace protein can be from standing up while urinating, can be from eating alot of protein in your diet, can be from your urine being concentrated during the fasting, which meant you didn't drink enough water, can be from exercising. The blood can be for similar reasons. Most of this is because of benign conditions. Did you have a blood test also for kidney function, if not maybe it should be done. The blood test for kidney function tells more accurate and reliable. Most of the time the doctors will watch these tests and monitor them if there is a change then they investigate kidneys further. Most likely it's nothing. Also if you touch the cup when giving the urine sample it can affect your tests results. It's supposed to be a "clean catch" specimen, which means you urinate slightly in the toilet then the rest is caught in the container for the laboratory.
