What is the Refractory Period?!

Question: That is when a man has an orgasm, and ejaculates, and his penis would be very sensitive, and he may not touch it for a while. THis process may last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. THis all depends on how old you are. THe process is like your body is "recharging the batteries" and it takes time for the man to get an erection again.

Its the time after ejaculation when a man can't get an erection and can be completely disinterested in sex...for some guys it may last 2 minutes, some longer, for me its like 2 hours or so...it varies.

It's the period after ejaculation (and orgasm) that a man cannot gain an erection regardless of the circumstances, and is entirely disinterested by sex. This usually occurs after masturbation, but some men have reported the ability to maintain an erection even after orgasm when having sex. Needless to say, they tend to be busy for several hours... :-P

after orgasm I lose libido, I dont feel like "doing it" anymore. I can still have erection, but I wont be turned on like I was before the orgasm. its extremly hard to achieve the next orgasm, except if I squeeze "it" really hard, but then the skin gets swollen. so I have to wait like 10 or 30min to 1h, if I want a second climax. and the head also gets very very sensitive if its wet, it can hurt so I have to stop.

it really sucks. I wish I would never have it. it was always messing my sexuality. before the orgasm I would be bisexual, but after orgasm I would be asexual cause I felt guilty for enjoying. now I'm straight.

and there's also neuronal and cardiac refractory period.
