Why does my friends throat hurt when he drinks lemonade?!
Question: he was telling me that he was drinking lemonade and becuz of that, his throat got soar and started getting a fever. he told me it maybe becuz when he was younger, his mom used to make lemonade when he was younger and she stopped. he doesnt know why he gets a soar throat whenever he drinks lemonade. can u help? oh and he went to the clinic already and cant find whats the problem. plz help..thnx <3

Because lemons contain a high concentration of citric acid, the acid then burns the throat and makes the throat hurt
How hard is it to just not drink lemonade! I mean I freaking like it, I don't drink it! Not that hard!
The high citric acid content in lemons could be irritating the lining of his throat.
keep one clove in the mouth, do not chew
