Do any muscles intervene in the erection process? Is that why after...?!

Question: Is that after keeping "it" up for almost 2 hrs the testicles hurt a little the day after? Especially the bottom part of the testicles. I was wondering if it's because some muscles keep it up?

there actually is a small muscle that contracts opening the main blood vessle going to the penis. The penis then fills with blood causing it to get hard. The testicles can get sore do to being full of semen for that long period. Keep in mind that having erections for so long and to often can cause penis enlargement ofer time.

they hurt because of semen secretion in your testicles

maybe

No, there are no muscles involved in the hardening of the penis. The angle of the erection is controlled by a muscle though - the erector muscle or tendon that is attached just above the penis.
