I cant sleep and I have to be awake in 4 hours!?!


Question: I'm supposed to go somewhere with my mother and grandmother but I can't get to sleep! Should I try to sleep? Should I just stay awake? What should I doooooooo.

You'll probably feel worse if you go to sleep now. Best thing is to drink heaps of red bull and stay awake. As long as you won't be driving.

I like to count, it stops my brain from over thinking. I usually pass out around 350 or so...good luck!

STAY UP. YOU WILL FEEL MORE TIRED IF YOU GO TO SLEEP FOR A FEW HOURS AND WAKE UP THAN IF YO JUST STAY UP TIL THEN. JUST TAKE A NAP LATER. I KNOW. I'VE DONE THIS COUNTLESS TIMES DURING COLLEGE WORKING ON SCHOOL WORK.

ive done it many times, and always end up having to cancel my plans becuz i finally fall asleep or am too tired to go do what i needed to do.

It happens sometimes. Just try to sleep, it's better than nothing.

depend swat u hav to do tha next day so ya i would just try to get as much sleep as u can even if its an hr betta than nothing or try n get out of it n not go lol

Get off the computer, lie down and at least rest the rest of the night. You won't be AS tired.

I've been in that same situation and have usually found it easier just to stay awake. If you go to bed now it's pretty much just a waste. It'll feel terrible when you try to wake up and it's only four hours. Hope this helps you out.

I have that problem all the time. I either stock up on caffeine and stay up the whole night, or just get a 2 hr. nap and then stock up on caffiene the next day. Either way you best be getting some coffee or some Energy Drinks in you. THEN, take a nap at next convienent time! :)

better to try to get some sleep or you may be grouchy in the morning just try your best read your self to sleep

Go to sleep...Absolutely.
Close your eyes and take a lot of slow, deep breaths....Inhale and slowly exhale. You will fall asleep. You won't be very good company if you get no sleep. 4 Hours is a good power nap.

close your eyes in the dark.

If you get less than 4 hours of sleep you might be better off just staying up and taking a nap later. I always find that if I get less than about 4 hours of sleep I'm always way more tired than if I were to just stay up the rest of the way. Unless you're going to be running around all day.... Then you might want to get as much sleep as you can if possible.
One thing that helps me is to take a short run around the block to tire myself out. Then i can fall asleep a bit easier.

if you don't sleep try talking and laughing while you're out that always helps me when i have a sleepless night

Just relax. Try to listen to music and close your eyes. Seems you mother and grandmother are taking you to see a boy, that's why you are so tense.

This happens to me at least once a week because my iron-clad habit is to go to sleep between 6 & 8 in the morning & get up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon but anytime I have to do something in the morning I can't sleep or I get barely any sleep. If you have help to get sufficiently conscious (stimulants of some type) when you have to be awake, and you are able to fall asleep at least an hour before you have to awaken, then try to sleep. Otherwise, my advice is to stay up, focus on getting through your task w/the ladies of your life, & sleep afterwards. Even better, try to stay up until your normal bedtime so you don't screw yourself over into a vicious cycle.
That's sexy when guys care to do stuff with their mom & grandma, even if it means sleep deprivation.

I have that Prob all the time, if I go to sleep, I feel sick when I do need to get up, if I don't get sleep, it is a long sleep fighting day. If you don't have to drive and there is some distance, try a nap in the car, but I would say, try and get a little sleep if you can, sorry man, I know how you feel.

Easiest way to fall asleep is to count your breaths. Count on each inhalation and exhalation (in, 1... out, 2... etc.). Go to 10, then restart back at 1 and keep going until you pass out.

Try to analyse what made you sleepless. By the time the solution strikes you, you would fall asleep. Some one would come and wake you up.

Stay up and get ready for the trip.
