It is not strange at all. In fact it is a very good routine for you to put the moisturizer on your face in the morning and it is also great to put on at night after you have washed your face. Sounds like you are a smart person that does care about your skin.
No it's normal, I use wipes just to stop from looking greasy or getting acne or anything like that.
It's just not something people need to know though lol.
