Is it good to get circumcised?!

Question: is there a difference other then look? should it be done or not?

Answers: is there a difference other then look? should it be done or not?

if it is not done when you are a baby... lord help you.

There is a general health concern about it.

The un-cut can store sweat and such under the skin and that can turn into nasty-ness.

All of this can be avoided if you just wash it right and often. Also pull the skin back when you go number 1 or you can spray the wall to your right or left at a 90 degree turn.

Also the uncut is more sensitive for action, a good thing.

You may hear some people say that women like cut better... just keep in mind that some people like cabbage, peas and carrots and some don't.

If she does not like you for being cut or not, she is not worth the effort to show it to her, much less let her use it. She would be shallow and well... unworthy of your love.

Also, there is not a difference between cut and not cut and catching STDs, HIV etc. That is modern folklore for dummies.

Sticking anything with anything you have is rolling the dice on several matters.

idk

health concerns also - it is easier to keep clean when circumcised.

i like men who are uncircumcised, but you'll find that most women, because they have been brainwashed, like them circumcised. You'll also hear people tell you that being uncircumcised is "unclean", but so long as you take showers every day and wash yourself, no problems.

This is an ongoing debate, even today. If for religious or social reasons you want to have it done on yourself or your child, go ahead. If there is no motivation to do it, don't bother.

I'm uncut and happy, but women do find it more attractive cut though

My stuff looks good cut, but I don't remember the surgery. I think I would not do it now. Ouch!!!!

There are some slight health benefits such as reduction in the risk of transmitting HIV and preventing penile cancer but neither are compelling enough for me to have a boy circumcised. It's something he needs to decide for himself. To be honest, I think the reason regarding HIV has potentially dangerous consequences because it could give circumcised men a false sense of security and encourage them to engage in risky sexual behavior.

For me it has been good being circumcised.

Should it be done or not? I dunno. It's kind of a weird practice. Probably not.

If you want to, sure.

The HIV link: the reason circumcised men contract HIV less than uncircumcised men do is one simple fact: less surface area. This is solved by the simple use of a CONDOM. When a condom is used, there shouldn't be a difference of risk--because more surface area or not, the same spots are covered.

Cleanliness is not an issue if you know how to wash yourself.

Women who believe that men who are uncircumcised are "gross" or "unattractive" are naive. It is not disgusting to be natural. It is sad that we find it necessary to perform medically unneccessary prodecures on infants who do not have a choice in the matter.

As for sensation, circumcision REDUCES it. More surface area=more nerves=more sensation. Pretty simple. Furthermore, circumcised men form calloused skin on the head of the penis, a problem not found in uncircumcised men.

Possible loss in sensation when you get circumcised. I don't think it should be done in infants because it's their genitals and nobody else's to remove bits of, but adults can do it if they want. Most like their foreskins and only do it if they are having foreskin problems or really like the idea of circumcision. The health benefits are stupid - if you wash it it's clean, not a permanent bacteria factory. And about HIV - circumcised men DO get it, almost as much if not as much as uncircumcised men (not significantly proven) and anybody who sleeps around without a condom is an idiot and circumcision will not protect them.

A circumcised penis is one that has had the foreskin cut off. So one with foreskin (how all boys are born) is uncircumcised, while one without it is circumcised. Here's an illustration:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/...

When erect they can appear very alike, since the foreskin pulls back.

I'm against infant circumcision. By leaving a boy uncircumcised, if he's not satisfied with it he can always get cut and end up satisfied in the end. One survey found that about half of circumcised guys would have preferred to had made the decision themselves:

Circumcision has become less common. Circumcision rates were as high as 90% back in the 1960s and 1970s (that's partly why today's adults are so... brainwashed, I supposed you could say, about thinking that circumcision is better) but they have fallen to as low as 14% in some states. Here are the statistics:
http://www.cirp.org/library/statistics/U...

The USA is the last developed nation doing it to a large number of newborns without religious or medical needs. (Europeans, Latin Americans, Japanese, and most Australians, Canadians, and Asians don't circumcise):
http://www.circumstitions.com/Maps.html

Christianity doesn't ask for circumcision, either. In fact, sections of the Bible are harsh against circumcision, and the Catholic Church even condemned the surgery:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcisio...

In a medical study, it was found that females are more likely to hit orgasm with an uncircumcised man:
http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/...

The lubricated foreskin (on the inside... like your eyelids) slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head (which is why you don't hear of uncircumcised guys needing lube to masturbate).

Studies have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,2855...

And despite being more sensitive, uncircumcised guys still last in the same six minute range (average) that circumcised guys do:

Circumcision makes masturbation more difficult:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs...

Which makes sense, that's how circumcision was promoted in the USA:
http://english.pravda.ru/science/health/...

Increases erectile dysfunction rates:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez...

If too much skin is removed in circumcision, it can make the penis smaller since the penis needs some skin to expand during an erection:
http://drgreene.org/body.cfm?id=21&actio...
http://www.altermd.com/Penis%20and%20Scr...

There's pain involved, often why doctors don't want you in the room when it's done:

http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/1f21e.htm
(you can search online for a circumcision video, too)

Circumcision does not completely stop penile cancer. The American Cancer Society has already confirmed the myth that circumcision = no cancer.
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/conten...

If circumcision did stop penile cancer, then penile cancer would not be more common in the USA (most circumcised adults) than in some European nations, where circumcision is not practiced other than for medical/religious reasons.
http://www.circumstitions.com/Cancer.htm...

And a new study found that circumcision does not reduce your chances to get HIV/AIDS. Unlike other studies, this one was done in a developed nation; the USA.

Of course, there are other risks associated, but those are typically the ones due to surgery. You can research it more here:

PS. As far as cleaning goes, it's really simple. For the first years in life the foreskin doesn't pull back. That prevents stuff like poo/fecal matter from touching the head. Later on all it takes it 5 to 10 seconds to pull the foreskin back and rub the head; it even feels good.

Circumcised looks better to most American's (who are either circumcised or expect a circumcised penis). Uncircumcised looks better to European's because that is more expected there. Uncircumcised is more sensitive which can either be a pro or con (depending on how you look at it). Circumcised is easier to keep clean (but if you observe proper hygene, they are both equally clean). Circumcision is painful and rather unnecessary in the long run. Jesus was circumcised (because he was Jewish) but Christians are not required to be circumcised because that is no longer their covenant with God, Jesus is.

In the end, they both have advantages and disadvantages, but if you ask me, uncircumcised is the natural penis and how it was meant to be. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

if you are a man yes woman no

it makes the woman have more pleasure

You didnt get that done at birth?!

It does matter to some girls
sometimes we dont like all that extra "baggage"

girls like circumcised men more than not circumcised men. plus it looks cleaner

It drastically cuts down the chances of getting HIV
http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/t...

Jesus was circumcised

few reasons why males are circumcized: religion, parent preference, easy to keep clean..

other than that there is no reason to be or not to be.
