What dieting tips should I use?!


Question: I would like to lose 60 pounds in 4 months. Right now I weigh over 260 pounds and I feel that my weight is keeping me back. Even though Im athletic I feel that I dont get respected when playing sports suck as pick up basketball because people believe in too clumsy. I also dont feel that I can get alot of women because of my weight. what dieting tips should I use to lose 60 pounds in 4 months without drugs, surgery, etc.

i would say go with the old fashion exercising. work out for about 2 1/2 hours for 4-5 days of the week. im not sure about the diet part. also dont be embarrassed to go to the gym and work out in front of people cause at least youre trying to get healthier. hopefully this helped a little sorry if it didnt but i read it in a magazine a while back and it works on one of my family members! good luck!

I can't say enough about Weight Watchers Points b/c it really, really works and is so incredibly simple. The have a points system for guys. Depending on weight. You are alloted so many points a day to lose weight each week . With exercise you get to add extra points. Points are calculated with a slide ruler according to fat, calories and fiber. (very easy to calculate).
I can eat 25 points a day. The can of soup I just ate works out to two points. Very simple. It's not calories counting.

i will tell you from my own experience. I weighd around 260 also, and lost 50 pounds in 5 months with no real exercise.
I started eating like a vegan, lots of fruits and veggies, i still eat meat once a week. no dairy at all, and i read the lables on everything i eat, just eat natural foods. stay away from fast foods, when i go out to eat its usually taco bell, bean burrito no cheese fresca style. or veggie sandwich from subway.
