How many hours at day do i have to workout? to get a six pack?!

Question: If you just do between 20-30 minutes of really high intensity cardio workout(such as running uphill, incline, crosstrainer, threadmill incline alternating, spinning, etc) and watch your diet, maintain between 1200-1400 calories a day, you should be well on your way to getting a six pack.

Of course it also depends on what your weight is now and how much fat you have to lose.

The high intensity cardio will REVV up your metabolism throughout the day.

Drink lots of water, avoid soda's or too much sugars and unhealthy carbs.

Ultimately opt for chicken and veggies or any other lean meat and veggies.

If you stick to this kind of healthy diet you will notice a drastic difference.

Just dedicate 20 mins to cardio every single day if you can(Come on 20 minutes is nothing compared to a 24 hour day) and you will see results.

It wont happen overnight, but you will see results after 2 or 3 days starting to emerge if you really stick to it.

I won't recommend no fad diet, ultimately it all boils down to your caloric intake daily.

Try not to go over 1500 maximum daily.

You should also do some other exercises to make your six pack stick out such as abdominal crunches and oblique crunches.

Work the upper, lower and obliques and you should be well on your way.

Try to do 50 reps of each abdominal muscle area daily, so about 200 reps daily.

I've found that 200 reps daily isn't pushing it to the limit,it's just enough to work the muscles without overworking.

If it's too much for you in the beginning, start with less and gradually increase to around 200.

You can also do pushups ,since this also works your upper abs and help them push out more, so to speak.

I'd recommend 3 sets of 15 reps daily.

This is pretty quick and easy for the regular person.

I hope this information was helpful, remember that to get a six pack and maintain it takes work and think of it in the sense of longterm and not short term. Make it a lifestyle, not a quick fix.

That depends what you are doing. If you are using a stationary bike, it'll take about seven hours to burn off a six pack.

When it comes to abs, the intensity of the workout will produce greater results than the duration.

GEtting a six pack involves a strict diet.... your body fat must be very low.. below 8%. This is the hardest thing about visible abs to achieve.

Otherwise you do a 20 minute workout every day. Crunches, obliques, leg raises... here is a list to choose from: http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/WaistWt...

You will never get a six pack no matter how hard you work out unless you reduce your fat intake.
People with a true "six-pack" not only take in very little fat, but also have high metabolisms because of good exercise and good cardio workouts.
Then again, there are people that NATURALLY have a sixpack but never work out a day in their lives. Their food goes in one end and out the other.
But if you don't already have it, you aren't going to get it unless you cut that fat intake. Just remember that low-carb does not mean low fat and vice versa.
