I have a question about catching an STD ?!

Question: If a women gives you oral sex without a condom and you dont ejaculate. The only bodily fluids that were exchanged was her saliva . Is there any risk of catching any STD's ? Please explain in detail and dont guess ? And how long will it take for the test results to show ?

I've answered your other similar questions and have investigated this a little deeper. It IS possible but the chances are very, very slim. What would make your chances higher would be if you had a cut or something like this on your penis or around it. If she had an open wound inside her mouth this would increase your risk. But the skin is like a "shield." If I have a cut on my hand and touch my cut to HIV infected fluid, I'd have a greater risk of catching it, so to speak. But if everything is intact, my skin would be a barrier, or "shield" against the HIV virus that would protect me about 98%. A man's penis is like an apengage compared to a woman's vagina. A vagina is full of fluids which can aid the virus' travel into my body. A penis does not have this; it has pre-ejaculate fluid that's coming "out" not traveling back inside. It can travel back inside but it's much less than the opposite. I hope this helps. Also, when I was 28, I was sexually asulted and when I went to the Rape Crisis Center, they did a swab to see if I'd in fact been raped. I followed with a visit to my doctor. He asked me how I cleaned myself up after the attack and the swab at the center. I told him that I'd mixed 1 part bleach and 2 parts water and rinsed myself with it. I don't know how in the world I got that in my head to do. He said, "You did this correctly. So long as you did not actually dousche with it, if you do this immediately following a sexual attack, this reduces your risk although we do not recommend it due to people making mistakes with the bleach. Maybe I remembered something my ex husband told me since he worked as an MD in Ft. Detrick, MD where AIDS research is conducted. They did an HIV test on me to establish a baseline of negative and 6 weeks later did another. The negative results for the 2nd test took 2 weeks to come back. This was 5 years ago so perhaps the results are faster, now. If you get a positive test, they don't tell you right away. They send it out for a "Western Blot" test which is another 2 weeks. This is a 2nd test to confirm the positive result. My ex told me this. You can get a test anonymously (sp?) and you'll receive a call or a mailer that says absolutely nothing but "come back for your results right away." They don't give any info. of results over the phone. If you have a pos. result, you will immediately receive counseling and treatment. I am so thankful that I have been lucky. My brother's friend was not. But I do know someone who at 37 had had the HIV virus for over 12 years and showed no symptoms. He even had a child through certain processes. If you were in the office, my ex would tell you to get tested. In this personal post, he would tell you that you did a stupid thing and that if you don't have a cut and she didn't either, you're probably okay but since you can't tell from looking at someone else, you should never, EVER do that again and to chalk this up as a learning experience.

You can definitely give her something, since pre-ejaculate does seep out when you receive oral sex. Though saliva cannot transmit HIV, so I wouldn't worry. The HIV antigens will not show up on a test for 6 months or so.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of herpes, yeah, you can get that.

Yes it's possible for you to get herpes if she's infected.

you can't get AIDS from her though.

Pre-ejaculate & herpes are both transferable this way.

You can get loads of information by googling, I'm not going into details.

yes, sexually transmitted diseases can be contracted through any bodily fluid including saliva. with oral sex the saliva may have entered you through your urethra. it is not a definite but it is possible something may have been contracted.

have you been picking up barfly's or what? well you can basically get any disease that can be transmitted in the saliva. which includes herpes and different hepatitis conditions. good luck and i know a bj aint got a face but is it really worth the two minutes of pleasure??

hi. actually the answer is no but if she is wounded mouth injury of course, their might be a risk. so better be sure by doing a test.

yes there is a chance because just before ejaculation a basic substaance called semenal fluid is produced so neutralize the acidic substances from the vagina urea.....
so it can cause some of these sexual problems
because pre-ejaculate is transmitted that way
results may take less than a year about 5.5-6.5
months
good luck
please give me best answer
